Mrs. BURNELL (Ora C. Fischer) ANDERSON 1913-1979

Funeral services for Ora Christine Anderson, 66, who died Dec. 24, 1979 at Community Memorial Hospital in Postville, were held Dec. 27, 1979, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, with Rev. L. C. Urlaub officiating. Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was the daughter of Otto and Eva (Moetsch) Fischer, born near Postville Feb. 2, 1913 and confirmed Aug. 15, 1926 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She graduated from Postville High School and was married May 22, 1937 to Burnell T. Anderson. The couple farmed all their lives near Postville and were the parents of seven children.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Burnell, who died August 20, 1977, and a son and daughter, both in infancy, she is survived by her four sons: Donald and David, both of Postville: Dean of Wahburn, Ia. and Dennis of Moscow, Ia.; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Judy) Koenig of Wayne, Neb.; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, Clarence Fischer of Guttenberg and Harold Fischer of Roseville, Calif.
