KARL C. BECKER 1918-1975

Funeral services for Karl C. Becker, 57, were held at 2 Wednesday afternoon from Salem United Church of Christ with the Rev. Henry Heinbuch of Zion United Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Martin's funeral service in charge.

Born Jan. 30, 1918 in Waukon, he was a son of Fred and Bertha Helming Becker, attended the local schools, and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. He was a veteran of World War II. A resident of Ludlow township, he died Sunday evening.

Remaining are his four children: Lane, Danny, Jim and John, one brother, Ralph Becker of Waukon, and one sister, Ruth, now Mrs. Marc Quandahl of Quincy, IL. Pallbearers were Robert Stuckman, Donus Duvel, Robert Baumgartner, Harold Hoffman, Leonard Opfer and Donald Hager.
