DEATH CLAIMS MRS. J.H. JANSEN
Four Weeks Illness Fatal; Funeral Monday A.M.
Mrs. Evolyn Jansen, 45, of 55 S. Grandview Avenue, wife of John H. Jansen, president of the Federal Discount Corporation, died at the family home at 10:10 Friday night after a four weeks illness with a heart ailment.
The body is at the Hoffmann mortuary, where friends may call. The funeral will be from Hoffmann's to the Church of the Nativity at 10 o'clock Monday morning. Burial will be in Mount Calvary cemetery.
Born June 3, 1901, in New Albin, Ia., the daughter of Henry F. and the late Frances Callahan Ayer, she had resided in Dubuque since 1918. A Catholic, she attended the Church of the Nativity.
Survivors are her husband; her father, Henry F. Ayer, Dubuque; two sisters, Mrs. Philip M. (Lorraine) Noesges, Michigan City, Ind., and Sister Mary Collette, BVM, Mundelein College, Chicago, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and one sister.
