CLARENCE J. BRAY 1908-1988

Funeral services for Clarence J. Bray, 79, were held Monday, March 28, 1988, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Waukon. Rev. Bill Patterson officiated, Martin Funeral Service, Waukon, was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery, Castalia.

Clarence J. Bray was born October 20, 1908 in Ludlow Township, Allamakee County to parents Dighton Bray and Nellie Meikle Bray. He died March 26, 1988 at Northgate Manor Care Facility, Waukon.

He married Marguerite Allen on July 24, 1931 at Castalia. They farmed in the Ludlow area until 1961 then moved to Waukon; they farmed in the Castalia area from 1932 to 1937. He received his education in rural Ludlow area schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Marguerite, a brother, Lyman, whereabouts unknown, 1 nephew and 4 nieces.
