Waukon, Ia., Sept. 30 - Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the family home in Harpers Ferry, for Levi Boardman, one of the pioneers of that locality, who was found dead in bed Tuesday morning, he having died of a heart attack.

Mr. Boardman was born at Heytman's station about 70 years ago, and resided there up to about 20 years ago when the family moved to Harpers Ferry to reside, during which time he was proprietor of a pool hall.

His wife, who was Miss Anna Walker*, preceded him in death.

I've noticed a few mistakes in the published obituary:

- Mrs. Joseph Howe should have been Mrs. Joseph Hawes
- Georgie and J.L. of Lynxville, Wis were his brothers not his sons
- His sons Carl and Heimer will still living at the time of his death are not mentioned in the obit. Not sure where they were living at the time.
