AGED WOMAN DIES IN JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP

Waukon, May 23 - Mrs. Anna Geving of Jefferson township was buried Wednesday at the West Paint Creek cemetery. She was a native of Norway born at Tronjhem on March 22, 1828 and (?) 91 years of age. She is survived by four children all of Allamakee and are as follows: John Geving, residing on a farm near the old homestead; George and Miss Anna at home, and Mrs. Mathis Johnson of Paint Creek township. Thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.

Note: Gravestone records indicate Anna Geving's husband as Bjorn O. Geving. Her date of death was May 18, 1919.
