The death of Mrs. W.H. Grimm which occurred Saturday morning came as a sad glow to her family and many friends.

Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Stoddard and was born Sept. 10, 1865, at the farm home near town. She was a graduate of the Waukon public school and in 1884 was united in marriage to Mr. W.H. Grimm.

They resided at Aaisworth, Neb., and later at Traer, Iowa, but have made their home in Waukon for the past year, owing to Mrs. Grimm's failing health and where she has received the best care that loving hands could give.

Her husband, two daughters, Misses Alice and Gretchen, her mother and two sisters, Mrs. A.M. Thompson of Des Moines and Mrs. R.B. May of this city, survive to mourn her loss.

The funeral services were held from the home of her mother Monday afternoon, Revs. Van Nice and Belfry officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in Oakland cemetery.
