Services for Stacia Campbell were held Friday, Dec. 3, 1982, at 1:00 p.m. at the Volney Methodist Church, Volney, Iowa, with Rev. Curtis Webster officiating. Pallbearers were Gaylord Moose, George Smith, Matt Freilinger, Dennis Mitchell, Paul Strelow, and Robert Smith. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, rural Waukon. Schultz's Funeral Home was in charge of services.

Stacia Isabel Campbell, the daughter of George and Jennie (Huffman) Rose, was born October 10, 1913 at Paint Creek Township, Allamakee County, Iowa. She was baptized and confirmed at the Volney Methodist Church. She received her education in the Volney and Waukon schools. On June 30, 1937 she was united in marriage to Judson Campbell at Waukon, Iowa. To this union two sons were born. She was a school teacher, having taught at Bear Creek School, Heims School, Suttle Creek and Smithfield Schools all in Allamakee County.

She died Tuesday, November 30, 1982 at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon, Iowa, following a sudden illness. She reached the age of 69 years, 1 month, 20 days. Preceding her in death was her father.

Surviving is her husband, Judson; her sons Gordon, daughter-in-law Kay of Ferryville, Wisconsin, and Ralph of Monona; granddaughter Dawn; her mother Jennie Rose of Waukon; and two brothers Wilbur Rose of Waukon and Wayne Rose of Waterloo.
