Waukon, Ia., Nov. 17 - Mrs. Ellen Stafford died Wednesday evening at her home in south Waukon.

She was born December 26, 1865, in Pennsylvania. The funeral was held Friday at Forest Mills and burial took place in the Smithfield cemetery beside her husband, who was killed a few years ago in a sawmill accident.

She is survived by two little daughters and one sister, Mrs. A.A. Jones, who will take the children.

Mrs. Stafford moved to town only a few months ago to educate her daughters. The daughters have the sympathy of all.
