Services were conducted from St. Paul Lutheran Church, Thursday morning, April 13 for Mrs. Edward F. Dahms, who died Monday, April 10, 1972 at the Good Samaritan Center in Postville. The Rev. Norman Ullestad officiated.

Rose Schave Dahms, daughter of Fred Schave and his wife Martha K. Rehburg, was born August 25, 1903 at Clermont, Iowa. Rose was baptized at Eldorado and confirmed into St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville in 1942 by the Rev. Frederick Ludwig.

On December 10, 1919, Rose was married to Edward Dahms at Luana. They lived on a farm near Castalia until they retired in 1948. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister Mable and a brother Arthur.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Grace Lundt of Decorah and Mrs. Marie Kohrs of Waterloo; several nieces and nephews.

Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.
