GRIM DESTROYER GETS BUSY IN THE NEW YEAR
MRS. W.F. DIERCKS.
The remains of Mrs. Wm. F. Diercks, of Minneapolis, who died New Year's eve after a prolonged illness, were brought to this city last evening and taken to the Julius Boeckh home. Burial takes place from there at 9:30 A. M. today. Deceased was born in this city 47 years ago. Her maiden name was Caroline Smith, she being the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, of the south side, both of whom are buried in Oak Hill cemetery. Deceased will be kindly remembered by many in this city, where she lived until grown to womanhood and enjoyed the esteem of all.
