HAROLD F. EBERLING 1901-1969
Funeral services were held at Gross Mortuary Chapel, Hot Springs, Arkansas on Dec. 8, 1969 for Harold F. Eberling, who passed away Dec. 6, 1969, following a long illness. Services were conducted by Rev. W. C. Schaefer, pastor of First Lutheran Church.
Harold Frederick Eberling was born in Clayton County, Iowa, December 30, 1901, the son of Fred C. and Elizabeth Fisher Eberling. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Postville.
On April 12, 1925 he was married to Pearl C. Meier.
Mr. Eberling was a livestock dealer, associated for 23 years with C. F. Meier and Company. In 1952 he moved to Hot Springs, Ark., where he resided until the time of his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Jennie Goldsworth. He is survived by his wife, Pearl, of Hot Springs, Ark.; one son, Charles F. of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Mary (Mrs. James Searls) of Iowa City and Carol Eberling of Hot Springs, Ark.; two brothers, Eli of Nashua and Verni of St. Ansgar; three sister, Addie (Mrs. John Gahagan) of Austin, Minn.; Ellen (Mrs. Archie Mohs) of Denver, Colo.; and Bernice (Mrs. Clem Waters) of Postville and five grandchildren.
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Hot Springs, Ark.
