Miss Emma Engebretson, 78, lifelong resident of this county, died Thursday at her home east of Waukon. She was born in Center township and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Helene (Nilsdotter) Engebretson. An only sister, Christine, with whom she resides, survives. She had been blind since childhood. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Old East Paint Creek church, conducted by the Rev. A.P. Lea.
