Lansing Man Killed By Falling Tree

Reuben Kelleher, 54, Lansing, Ia., was fatally injured Thursday when he was struck by a falling tree while cutting timber near here.

Kelleher was struck on the head by the tree and died in a hospital here of a fractured skull. An employee of the Eischeid Const. Co., he was working on the Coralville Dam project at the time.

Kelleher is survived by his widow and four children.

NOTE: Gravestone search records indicate Reuben was born in 1903 and was the son of Thomas and Mary (Bruns) Kelleher. He was married to Catherine M. Strub.
