Mrs. P.J. Miles, 81, died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Myrtle Pace, Wednesday of a heart ailment, having been ill but a few days. Funeral services were held at St. John's Catholic church Friday conducted by Msg. W.T. Donahue, pastor. Burial was in St. John's cemetery. As Catherine Kelleher, she was born at Lansing where she spent her early life. She taught school for several years and was married at Lansing to P.J. Miles, prominenet Oelwein real estate dealer. They made their home at Oelwein until his death in 1915. An adopted son, Dr. John Miles of Green Bay, Wis., survives.

NOTE: Catherine Miles was born in 1855, the daughter of William and Mary Kelleher.
