Services for Mrs. Herman Wurtzel, 56, will be held (?) at St. John's Lutheran church with burial in Oakland cemetery. A rural teacher in her vicinity she was a lifelong resident in this community. Surviving are her husband, a son, Truman, Waukon, three daughters, Mrs. Oliver Osland, Brinsmade, N.D., and Mrs. Clarence Peterson of Waukon, and Mrs. Maurice Svendsen of Waukon; two brothers, Emil Pladsen of Lansing and Theodore Pladsen of Lafayette township, three sisters, Mrs. Randine Stein of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. O.J. Wagnild and Barbara Pladsen of Waterville.
