Funeral Rites Held For Mrs. Huffman

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Huffman, 83, were held at her home in Rossville Saturday morning Jan 10 at 9 o'clock with Father Albert Nees conducting the services.

Mrs. Huffman died Wednesday Jan 7, following a brief illness. She was born in Allamakee county Oct. 26, 1858, the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Reddy.

She was married to Isaac Huffman also of Allamakee county, Dec. 15, 1887, the couple spent their entire married life in that vicinity. She leaves five children, Richard, Earl, and Mrs. Ross Canoe of Rossville, George of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Walter Harrop of Mason City. There are thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the services were six of the nephews, Jim Barlow, George Rose, Ernie Smith, Frank and John Huffman.

Burial was in the Waukon cemetery.
