WAUKON MAN IS KILLED IN AUTO SPILL; WIFE HURT

Waukon, Ia., June 7, Gustave Guth, 65 years old, was instantly killed yesterday when he lost control of his automobile and it went over a bank. His wife was pinned under the wrecked car for two hours along with his dead body before she was rescued. She is in a hospital badly injured, but it is believed she will recover. The accident occured while they were on their way to a picnic at the Old Stone House.

Mr. Guth came to Waukon in 1878. Besides his widow, he is survived by one daughter, Elsie.
