William Tillotson, Spanish-American war veteran, died Saturday at a La Crosse, Wis., hospital. A son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Tillotson, he was born at Marengo, Jan. 12, 1864. April 17, 1921, he was married to Mrs. Mary Dunfee of Chicago. They came to Allamakee county in 1926 settling at Waukon Junction. Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother and sister, residing at distance points. Funeral services were conducted Monday by the Rev. F.E. Stucki. Burial with military honors took place in Oakland cemetery.
