K.T. Gronna died Wednesday at the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Clara Gronna, in Paint Creek township, from heat prostration. He was born on the farm where he died on March 23, 1857. He was known throughout Iowa and neighboring states for the fine grade of full blooded Holstein and Shorthorn cattle raised on his large farm. An only daughter, Mrs. Albert Leikvald of Scarles, N.D., survives, together with brother A.T. Gronna of Paint Creek township and two sisters residing at distance points. His wife who was Miss Ellen Anderson of Winneshiek county, and a son Thomas, preceded him in death.
