Fatal Fall for Farmers’ Wife.
[Waukon Democrat.]
Mrs. Henry Schroeder, residing on the former R. A. Eaton farm in Ludlow township, met with a sudden death last Saturday afternoon by the overturning of a load of hay upon which she was riding home with her husband. She had been assisting him in the hayfield and upon the approach of the supper hour they started for home. A bad place in the road was encountered and the load tipped over. Mrs. Schroeder fell in such a manner as to dislocate her neck and death was instantaneous. The husband escaped unharmed.
