Glenn Bitner Triggs, 66, died Tuesday in his home after a long illness. Services 11 a.m. Friday, St. John's Lutheran Church. Burial and graveside services: Oakland Cemetery, with military rites by Waukon Veterans. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home.

Glenn was born November 27, 1926 to Charles Bates and Clara Isabelle (Butts) Triggs in West Virginia. On June 23, 1954, he married Gladys Marie Strong.

Survivors include his wife Gladys; three daughters, Linda Hess of Lansing, and Glenda Smith and Cheryl Martins, both of Waukon; a son, Michael of Loveland, Colo.; a brother, Garnett of Martinsburg, W. Va.; and four sisters, Rebecca Breithbach of Mountain Home, Ark., June Strong of Waukon, Nancy Billmeyer of Winchester, Va., and Mary Dahbura of Hagerstown, Md.
