Harpers Ferry, Ia. - Services for Neal Manning, 81, who died Saturday after 16 months illness, were held Tuesday from St. Ann's Catholic church, Harpers Ferry, with the Rev. J.J. Costelloe offering requiem mass. Burial was in Wexford cemetery.

He was born on a farm in the Wexford vicinity on Dec. 15, 1865, the son of the late John and Margaret Manning. He was married to Mary Hawes on May 31, 1911 at the Wexford church.

Surviving are his widow; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Burke, Mrs. Michael Gavin and Mrs. Nellie Revoir, all of Lansing, Ia, and several nephews. He was preceded by a brother.
