Mrs. Emily M. Betsinger died early Saturday morning at her home, 1539 Charles Street, after a year's illness of dropsy. She was born in Michigan, October 6, 1844.

Surviving her are two daughters, Clara Betsinger, 1539 Charles street, and Mrs. Earl Wheaton, 1427 Liberty street; three sons, FA. Betsinger, 2106 Kane street; Edward of Bellingham, Wash., and Leonard H. of San Francisco, Calif.; three brothers, George P. Bellows, Waukon, Ia., Charles and Elmer of New Albin, Iowa.

The remains were taken from the Tetiey, Sletten and Dahl undertaking rooms to New Albin, Iowa, Monday morning. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon with Rev. Piper of the M.E. church officiating. Interment was made in the family lot in the New Albin cemetery.
