James William Spores, Jr., 75, a retired Allamakee County employee, died Sunday night (February 5, 1984) at the Waukon hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Luain, three sons, Gaylord of Decorah, and Darrell and Sheldon, both of Waterloo, two daughters, Charlotte Lunde of Waterloo and Shelby Thompson of Rock Island, Ill., five brothers, Harold, Roy and Spencer, all of Dorchester, Donald of Waukon and Glen of Cedar Rapids, three sisters, Lillian Knickerbocker of Prairie du Chien, Wis., Blanche Schleicher of New Albin and Mrs. Alba Kudart of Decorah, and seven grandchildren.

Services: Wednesday, 2 p.m., St. John's United Methodist Church. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Martin's in Waukon. Burial: Dorchester Methodist Cemetery.
