Died at Restaurant Table.
Waukon Rep:—Yesterday morning about 9 o’clock Andrew Sorum and Michael Clarity, familiar characters to the town, went into “The Model” and ordered breakfast. Clarity finished his meal and arose to depart, leaving his companion yet occupied with his victuals. In a few moments Mr. Wilkinson, the proprietor, passed through the diningroom and noticed that the man at the table appeared to be asleep, sitting with his head bowed forward. He shook him slightly but finding that he was not to be readily aroused left him for some little time, being busy with other matters. But when he and his assistants next paid attention to the man they found him stiff and growing cold. Dr. Bowen was soon called and pronounced him dead. Coroner Myers was summoned from Rossville, but an inquest was thought unnecessary. Heart trouble is presumed to have been the cause of his death

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Oakland Cemetery and was born in 1839 and died Sept. 17, 1901.
