Mrs. John Arndt Mostad passed away at her home near Sattre after a lingering illness.

She was born in Trondhiem, Norway, June 24, 1831, and reached the age of 86 years, 3 months and 14 days.

Her husband and six children preceded her in death. She is survived by the following named daughters: Mrs. Wallace Clark, of Waukon; Mrs. Bedina Eigner, of Spokane, Wash.; and Mrs. Mary Brandt of Wadena, Minn.

Burial took place at the Big Canoe cemetery and services were conducted by Rev. L.O. Tolo.
