Lansing, Iowa - Funeral services for Theodore Haerer, 74, will be held Friday afternoon at the Burke Chapel, the Rev. Albert Kinzler officiating, and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Haerer died at his farm home near Lansing Tuesday after a long illness.

He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Haerer and was born at Lansing Nov. 28, 1879. He attended the public schools and spent his adult life as a farmer.

He married Mary Waters Jan. 29, 1914. Two sons, Raymond and Theodore were killed in a highway accident in July 1948.

Surviving are Mrs. Haerer; two daughters, Mrs. Don Peterson of Lansing and Mrs. Milton Russell of New Albin; five grandchildren; and seven half-brothers and sisters of Louisville, Ky. Two brothers, Herman and Otto preceded him in death.
