HAGER, Lester Earl 1922-1938

Lester Hager, aged 16 years, passed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hager, in Ludlow township, on Tuesday evening. The funeral arrangements have not been made as we go to press.

LESTER EARL HAGER 1922-1938

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Bethlehem German Presbyterian Church in Ludlow conducted by the Rev. John Kloesterboer, for Lester Earl Hager, a youth of 16 years.

Lester was born in Ludlow, June 24, 1922, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hager. He was a pupil at the Waukon high school. Surviving besides his parents are two brothers and two sisters, all at home, also his grandmothers, Mrs. Hager and Mrs. Stock. Burial was made in the local cemetery. Members of his confirmation class acted as pallbearers.

Notes: Lester's mother was Rose Etta (Stock) Hager. His two brothers were Elmer Wayne Hager and Donald Henry Hager. His two sisters were Doris (Hager) Guese and Arlene Ruth Hager. Arlene died at the age of seventeen, January 28, 1945. Lester's grandmother's were Sophia (Grotegut) Hager and Elizabeth (Roach) Stock.
