JOHN HELLUM DIES AT ELGIN HOME

John Hellum, Elgin businessman, passed away Tuesday morning at his home in Elgin.

Funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:30 from the Muelenthaler Funeral Home and at 2:00 at the Elgin Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Gunder. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Kenneth of Postville and Merlin of Elgin.

- John's wife was Clara Mary Peterson. John and Clara started the Hellum Produce in 1928 and were in the business for 30 years. Burial in Gunder was in the Marion Lutheran Cemetery.
