Milton Hoesly

Word was received here this morning of the passing on of Milton Hoesly, 29, in a hospital at Monroe, Wis., and funeral services are being held in that city today. He was the son of Sam Hoesly, formerly a co-publisher of the Iowa Volksblatt of this city. The family moved to Monroe in June, 1914. Mrs. Hoesly passed away a few years ago. Milton was the first child born in the Postville hospital, August 31, 1913, shortly after it was opened by the late Dr. A. A. Schmidt. He had been ill for several years.
