Mrs. Mabel Peterson, wife of Lloyd Peterson, 217 Sixth avenue northeast, died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from neuritis after a short illness.
The funeral arrangements have not as yet been concluded, but the funeral will in all probability be held Saturday.
Mabel Hartong was born in Lansing, Ia., 22 years ago and in 1908 was married to Lloyd Peterson at New London, Wis.
Four years ago the family came to Aberdeen since which time Mr. Peterson has been employed with the Aberdeen Street Railway company as motorman and conductor, and for the past year as electrician at the car barns. Mr. Peterson's father, G. W. Peterson, was in charge of the laying of the track for the company here.
The decease is survived by a sister and two brothers at Lansing, Ia. Her only child, Leona, 5 years of age died February 1.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at Wilson undertaking parlors and interment will be Riverside. Rev. O.W. Taylor, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate.
Deceased was born in Lansing, Ia. twenty-two years ago last May and had made Aberdeen her home for the last four years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hartong, both now deceased. On January 25, her 3-year-old daughter Leona died, following an illness of pneumonia.
