P. S.—Thursday morning—Anthony Clarity, one of our old and well known residents, died yesterday noon from paralysis, He was 79 years old. Fuller particulars next week.

Transcriber’s Note: Iowa Gravestone Photos show he is buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. He was born in 1825.

Anthony Clarity died Wednesday, Jan. 8th, of old age and paralysis at the age of seventy nine years. He leaves seven children—Mrs. Sarah Conway, of Nebraska, Mrs. Lydon, of Frankville, Anthony, at Lena, Ill., John, of Baltimore, Md. , and Mike, Jim, and Etta at the home farm. He was buried at Waukon Saturday by the side of his wife, who died a few years ago.
