“Grandma Bentley,” widow of Rev. Jas. Bentley, died on the 6th inst. aged 81 years. She married in 1850, and together they came to Lansing in 1854, where he served as the first minister, he being an ordained priest in the Episcopal church. In 1859 they moved to Waukon where she has since lived. He died many years ago, and she has lived with a son, but was “grandma” to a host of young people.

Oakland cemetery records show the burial of Ursula N., Mrs. James Bentley, in Lot 184 with several other Bentley's, including Rev. James Bentley.
