Correction:
Funeral services for Milton T. Gordon were held August 17. In the obituary which appeared last week, the following survivors should have been included: His wife, Anna, and his children.Postville Herald newspaper clipping, hand dated 1966, from my mother's obituary collection.

Milton T. Gordon Rites
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 17, 2:00 p.m. at St Paul Lutheran Church, for Milton T. Gordon, who passed away at Veterans' Administration Hospital in Iowa City, August 15. The Rev. [illegible] B. Housman was in charge of the rites; burial was in [illegible] cemetery with military [illegible] the Postville American [illegible].Milton Thomas Gordon was born April 8, 1893 in Henderson [illegible] the son of Mary Miller and Thomas Gordon. He passed away at Veterans' Hospital in Iowa City on August 15, following a lingering illness.
He was married to Anna Boese [illegible - ends with ember] 26, 1924 at Mc[illegible]. He was a farmer in the [illegible] his entire life; he was a veteran of World War I.
He was preceded in death by [illegible]. Survivors include his children Lola, Mrs. Ernie Heins, Postville; Charlotte, Mrs. Dan [illegible], McGregor; Donald of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin; [illegible] of Chula Vista, California; [illegible] Mrs. Eugene Trudo, of [illegible]; Jean, Mrs. Eugene [illegible] of Postville; Nancy Dilly of Prairie du Chien; Janet, Mrs. [illegible] of Cedar Rapids and [illegible] Mrs. Adrian Nelson of [illegible].
