Mrs. Mary Morgan, who died recently in Dubuque and was buried a week ago Monday at New Albin, is said to have been the oldest woman in Iowa. She was 105 years old and lived in three centuries. She came to Allamakee county in 1839 and for sixty years was a resident of that county.

Note: Burial is in the Holy Cross cemetery, SE of New Albin. The Woodmansee record gives year of birth = 1800, which makes her age 103 rather than 105.
