Mrs. GERALD (Stella Rosella Livingood) MOOSE

Funeral services for Stella Rosella Moose, 86, Waukon, were held Wednesday, June 25, 1975 at 1:30 p.m. from Martin funeral home in Waukon, with the Rev. Curtis Webster officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery. William and Leslie Livingood, Cletus and Wesley Winters, Leonard Miller and Earl Lawson were pallbearers.

Mrs. Moose died Monday, June 23 in the Guttenberg hospital. She was born in Allamakee county July 23, 1888, a daughter of Edwin and Matilda Pechia Livingood. She and Gerald Moose were married in Waukon December 14, 1909. He died October 29, 1964.

Seven children survive. They are Gaylord and Milburn of Monona, Hollis and Claude of Waukon, Herbert of Garnavillo, Mrs. Paul (Carol) Klees of Monona and Mrs. Ralph (Eloise) Welch of McGregor. A son Ralph is deceased.

Also surviving are 35 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Caroline Lawson of Caledonia, MN.

Eight brothers and sisters are deceased: Maude, Willard, Charles, Earl, Abbie, Cecil, Nellie and Lynn. Mrs. Moose was educated in the local schools, and was a life-long resident of the area.
