JEFFREY LYNN NELSON

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 4, 1966 at 2:00 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Oelwein, for Jeffrey Lynn Nelson, son of Henry B. and Marilyn Meyer Nelson. Jeffrey passed away May 1, 1966 at University Hospitals, Iowa City, following a lingering illness.

Jeffrey Nelson was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, on March 20, 1960. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Sunday School, Children of the Church and Cherub Choir. He attended Harlan School.

Survivors include his parents; one sister, Barbara; two brothers, Randall and Gregory; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Meyer, Postville; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nelson, Clermont; three great grandmothers, Mrs. Isabelle Nelson, Mrs. Enoch Walvatne of Clermont and Mrs. Henry Block of Postville.

He attained the age of six years, three months, and 23 days. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery, Oelwein.
