Funeral services for Arno Charles Reincke, 55, Postville, were held at 2:00 p.m. December 18, 1978 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norris C. Swenson officiated.
Arno Charles William Reincke, son of Fred J. and Louise (Appel) Reincke, was born May 26, 1923 in Clayton County and died December 14, 1978 at Postville.
He was united in marriage to Sandra Hope September 2, 1958 at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. To their union, a daughter, Karen, was born.
He served as a medic in the United States Army and was a railroad employee.
Baptized August 19, 1923 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, he was confirmed April 17, 1938 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. Since 1949 he was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Postville.
His father preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his daughter, Karen; his mother, Mrs. Louise Reincke, Postville; two brothers, Delbert, Evansdale and Frederick, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and three sisters, Mrs. Mel (Laverna) Schopp, Castalia, Mrs. Wilbur (Mardella) Reckward, Postville and Mrs. Marlin (Arlene) Lundt, Decorah.
Arrangements were made by Schutte Funeral Home, Postville. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.
