James Enyart was called to Postville last week by the death of his father, Nelson Enyart, a resident of that place.

Nelson Enyart, father of Wright Enyart, died Wednesday, aged about 75 years. Funeral this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Congregational church under Masonic auspices.

Notes:

-According to the 1925 Iowa State census and the obit of his son, Wright Enyart, Nelson's wife was Sarah Davis. Nelson born in Missouri and Sarah in Wisconsin.

-The Harris Funeral Home (Postville) Records have an entry for John Enyart, age 77y 8m 17d, who died 5/2/1901 and was buried 5/4/1901. Errors have been found in these records, but I believe the obit and record entry are likely for Nelson Enyart named in the obituaries. A link to the Funeral Home record is below. Nelson may not have a gravestone in the Postville cemetery.
