Lansing, Ia. - Funeral services for Lester Gibbs, 32, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Burke chapel, the Rev. C.H. Willemssen officiating and burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.

Gibbs died at a La Crosse hospital Wednesday night where he had been a patient but a few hours. A post mortem was being held Thursday to determine cause of death.

He was a son of Mrs. Hiram Gibbs and her late husband and was born at Lansing May 26, 1918. He spent his entire life here attending the public schools and for years was a commercial fisherman.

Surviving are his mother, son, Gery Gibbs, three brothers, Chester, Charles and Paul Gibbs of Lansing and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Randall of Nashua, Minn.
