WAUKON, Ia. – Edward Hager, 58, a prominent Waukon businessman, died Monday at the Waukon Veteran's Memorial Hospital following surgery.

Friends may call at the Martin Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church, Waukon. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, the former Elsie Sandry; one daughter, Mrs. Ernie Lubahn, Waukon; two sons, James and Keith, both of Waukon; two brothers, Otto and Elmer, both of Castalia, Ia.; three sisters, Mrs. Herman Nolting, Waukon; Mrs. Melving (sic) Ewing, West Union, Ia.; Mrs. Earl Livingood, Frankville, Ia.; 10 grandsons.
