DIED. On Friday afternoon of last week, Hannibal STONE. He was an old and respected citizen of Postville and leaves a wife and two grown children to mourn his loss. He was about 63 years of age. The funeral was held from his late residence on Sunday afternoon, Reb. FERNER officiating. Hannibal STONE was born in Arlington, Vt., Feb. 28th, 1822, died Jan. 16th, 1885. He was married Jan. 18th, 1854, to Miss Julia HOYT, and settled in Aurora, Illinois. where for 11 years he was engaged in railroad business. At the end of this time he, with his family, removed to Postville, where they have since lived. For several years he has been indelicate health and during the past his decline was more perceptible. Since 8 weeks ago he has been confined to the house, and sank very rapidly until death relieved him from suffering. We have the singular coincidence of the funeral services of deceased on his wedding anniversary. He leaves a wife, two daughters, several grandchildren and other relatives to mourn his loss; also his wife's mother, now quite aged, over whom deceased has exercised the tenderest care.
