LAWRENCE BYRNES
Waukon, Ia. – Services for Lawrence Byrnes, 80, lifelong Hanover township resident, were Monday at St. Mary's church in Hanover township. The Rev. Joseph Krocheski officiated.
Byrnes was born Nov. 18, 1871, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Byrnes. On Jan. 6, 1902, he married Nora Zoll, who survives.
Other survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Oswald Steinhart, of Hanover township, Mrs. John Quillin, of Chicago, and Mrs. Charles Murphy and Mrs. George Haler, home, Francis, Garland, Mark and of Waukon; (sic) seven sons, Victor, at Clem, of Hanover township, Lawrence, of Waukon, and Pat, of Kenosha, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Mike Burke, of Hanover township, and Sister M. Canice of Algona, Ia., and 33 grandchildren.
