FORMER LANSING RESIDENT CALLED

Lansing, Ia., Jan. 22.-The services for the late Mrs. Elizabeth Pfender were held here and the interment was made in the Oak Hill cemetery. Mrs. Pfender passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S. L. Vier, in Mason City following an illness of 15 weeks' duration. Deceased was 72 years of age and had formerly resided in Lansing. She is survived by a son, John of Chicago, and another daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Tartt of Florida.
