Rites Held For Mrs. Weihe

Clinda Zieman Weihe, daughter of Anna and Albert Zieman, was born on July 24, 1889. She passed away at the age of 72 at Renton, Washington on July 13, 1962 following a sudden heart attack. She was the oldest of four children of whom two survive, Verni Zieman of Monona and Estella, Mrs. R. C. Huebner, of Postville.

She was married to Elmer Weihe on February 22, 1912. Four children were born to this union. Two died in infancy and Richard died at the age of eight years. She was preceded in death by her husband on October 13, 1960. She is survived by her daughter, Murtis, Mrs. Alvin Thoreson, and three grandchildren, Zoe, Mrs. Lyle Abrahamson of Cresco and J. D. and Dick of Postville.

Clinda Weihe lived her entire life in this community. Her church, relatives and friends were her main interest.

Funeral services were held at the Community Presbyterian church on Wednesday, July 18, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Walter T. Martin in charge of the services. Burial was in the Postville cemetery.
