Lansing, Iowa - The funeral of Mrs. Peter Hanson was held at Immaculate Conception church Tuesday morning with the Rev. H.J. Krieger officiating.
Mrs. Hanson passed away Sunday morning at a La Crosse hospital following a major operation performed two weeks ago.
The former Emma Trayer was born in Lansing, Aug. 3, 1881, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Trayer. She attended the parochial schools here.
On Feb. 11, 1907, at La Crosse, she married Peter Hanson, who survives with two sons, Herbert and Ralph; her mother, Mrs. John Trayer; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Sweeney and Mrs. Lydia Harne of Lansing; and Mrs. Rose Towle of Madison; two brothers, Joseph Trayer of Mason City and George Trayer of Madison.
Pallbearers were Otto Koch, Mart Seeley, Ben Sweeney, John Harne, Harold Hanson and Joseph Lucy. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.
