Lansing, Iowa - Services were to be held Wednesday afternoon for Otto Haas, who died Monday morning at the home of an aunt, Miss Anna Kerndt, where he had received care for the past year.

Services were from the home of Miss Kerndt, the Rev. H.J. Noeding officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mr. Haas was born Aug. 15, 1874, in Lansing. He attended Northwestern University, completing a course in pharmacy, and worked in and owned a drug store on Wells street for 40 years.

Surviving are his mother; a sister, Mrs. Alvina Calfee of Cleveland, O., and a brother, Herman, of Lansing.

He was a member of the Masons and the Elks.
