Lansing, Ia. - Plans are being made for the funeral of Robert Glynn, who died at a La Crosse hospital Wednesday. Glynn is a Gold Star father of World War I.

He was born at Louisville, Ky., a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Glynn. He came north when about 16 years of age, settling first at Clayton and later came to Lansing. He was an engineer on the river for some years and for many years was sexton of Oak Hill cemetery.

He was married to Josephine Glynn about 1890. To them were born seven children. William was one of three casualties from Lansing in the last war, and a son Wallace was drowned some years ago.

Glynn is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Stella Whalen, Mrs. Martha Whalen, Mrs. C.A. Pierson and one son Ralph Glynn; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from Immaculate Conception church and burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
