On Monday, March 11, the death of Walter Drew, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Drew, aged 24, a young man of very promising future, saddened the entire community. He had been fortified in his last illness by all the sacraments and at his deathbed Rev. J.C. Stuart of Waukon gave the last absolution. To his bereaved family and to his multitude of friends condolence is extended.

Notes: Walter Drew is buried in West Ridge cemetery, his gravestone has the dates 1905-1929. His full dates are 9/28/1905 - 3/11/1929. The record of his burial was not included in the "Woodmansee" Allamakee co. burial book.
